The Foolis an 1880 Armenian language novel by the Armenian novelist Raffi, one of the best-known novels by one of Armenia’s greatest novelists. The plot is based on the last Russo-Turkish War (1877–78), the plot tells a romance set against the background of the divided Armenian nation.

The Diary of a Cross-Stealer is written in the form of a diary of Murad, who, being an apprentice of a blacksmith, fell under the influence of the pseudo-priest of the Armenian Church Petros and became, like him, a cross-stealer.
